So I was lounging around in my pajamas this afternoon piddling away at whatever and I get a call from the photo desk. It went something like this (paraphrased from memory):

Lindy: Helllooooooo?
Photo Desk: Hi and HOLY CRAP guess what football spring practice starts today and NO ONE TOLD US and Ed just asked who is shooting it and we were like what? and Ed is like we want photos how could you not know and but Marshall didn’t say anything and we just found out! anyway so can you shoot this pretty please? We’ll give you a cookie.
Lindy: Uh… sure. When?
Photo Desk: Opens to the media in 25 minutes. Technically they’ve already started practice. And we don’t have a list or anything from sports just so shoot whatever.
Lindy: …
Photo Desk: TWO COOKIES!
Lindy: Okay fine.

And because I’m a Photo Superhero, in 25 minutes I was dressed and dandied and geared up and over at the football practice field probably illegally parked and in the sports comm office with about 30 other photogs and videographers.
