Wipeouts and Feet Mysteries and Mini-kegs

Clarke Central High School Gladiators versus the Hart County High School Bulldogs. First football game of the season, of course I’m the photog whose gonna get wiped out… And of course, I kept my finger on the trigger. I made a quick animated gif out of it for fun.

I saw it coming, and it was almost too late, but I managed a sort of side-backflip-roll-thing and for the most part avoided major injury.

I did wake up this morning with this on my foot, and have no idea how it got there. Not sure if that’s a war wound from last night or not. A mystery!

And, yeah, lets skip the funny looking feet jokes for now. Thanks.

Game was the season opener for the Clarke Central High School Gladiators last night, and which Mark turned into a workshop of sorts for the class. Sort of got the new kids a feel for shooting sports and us old kids warmed up for upcoming college football season.

I got some nice images, but I’m still going through them, I’ll try to post some picks in the next few days.

But now… the kids are out playing and doing their thing, and I’ve got the house ALL TO MYSELF for probably THE REST OF THE DAY.

I was going to go watch the Georgia-OKState game at the Blind Pig, since I don’t have tickets and we don’t have cable TV, but I’ll just hang out here and enjoy the peace, and get things done. Like… cleaning. And work. While listening to the game on the radio, of course, and enjoying my mini-keg… All by myself…

I almost feel middle aged right about now.

Beer me.
